This Privacy Policy describes how Metta Studio, LLC, doing business as Metta Showroom ("Metta," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information in connection with mettashowroom.com and any other website or page that links to this Privacy Policy (the "Site"), and with our showroom, sales, and related business activities (together with the Site, the "Services"). By using the Services or providing information to us, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.
1. Our Services are for businesses
Metta is a wholesale showroom and sales agency. The Services are intended for businesses, including the brands we represent and the retailers and buyers who purchase from them, and are not directed to consumers for personal, family, or household use. If you have a written agreement with us, that agreement controls to the extent it addresses the information it covers, and this Privacy Policy does not limit it.

We collect information you provide to us, such as contact and professional details (for example, name, title, company, email address, phone number, and business addresses), appointment and event details, account, order, and billing information, information needed to open or maintain a wholesale account, and the content of your communications with us.
We collect certain information automatically when you use the Site or interact with our emails, such as IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referring pages, dates and times of access, and email interactions.
We also receive information from other sources, such as the brands we represent, retailers and buyers, wholesale and ordering platforms, event organizers, referrals, and publicly available sources.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide, operate, and improve the Services; to represent our brands and connect them with retailers and buyers; to schedule appointments and events; to process and manage orders and accounts; to communicate with you, including for marketing; to promote our brands and the Services, including through reviews and testimonials; to invoice, collect payment, and maintain business records; to protect the security and integrity of the Services; to comply with legal obligations; to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims and enforce our agreements; and for other purposes described at the time of collection or with your consent. We may also use aggregated or de-identified information for any lawful purpose.
4. How we share information
We may share information:
- with the brands we represent, including to fulfill and service the orders and requests that buyers place with them through us;
- with retailers, buyers, and other business partners in connection with the Services;
- with service providers and platforms that help us operate our business, such as hosting, communications, customer relationship management, marketing, ordering, scheduling, and payment providers;
- with event organizers and our professional advisors;
- with our affiliates;
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction;
- when we believe it is necessary to comply with law or legal process, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Metta or others; and
- with your consent or at your direction.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies on the Site and in our emails to operate the Site, remember preferences, understand usage, and measure the performance of our communications. Third parties that provide content, analytics, or other services through the Site may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites. You can adjust your browser settings to refuse or delete cookies, but some features may not work properly. The Site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
6. Marketing communications
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us. We may still send you non-marketing messages related to your account, orders, or our business relationship.
7. Retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
8. Security
We use reasonable measures designed to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of any information.
9. Your choices and rights
You may contact us to update or correct your contact information. Depending on where you are located, you may have additional rights under applicable law, such as the right to access, correct, or delete certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us at the address below. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we may decline or limit requests as permitted by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising rights available to you under applicable law.
10. California residents
To the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act (the "CCPA") applies to us, California residents may have the right to know, access, correct, and delete personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing, and may exercise these rights by contacting us, including through an authorized agent. In the past 12 months, we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 2, which may include identifiers, customer records, commercial information, internet or other electronic network activity, approximate location, and professional information, from the sources, for the purposes, and disclosed to the recipients described in Sections 2 through 4. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use sensitive personal information in ways that would require offering a right to limit its use. California residents may also request information about our disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
11. International users
We are based in the United States, and information we collect is processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process personal information to perform contracts, for our legitimate business interests, to comply with legal obligations, or with consent, and you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
12. Children
The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
13. Third-party sites and services
The Site may link to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
14. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Changes take effect when posted, and your continued use of the Services after that means you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
15. Governing law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Except where applicable law provides otherwise, any dispute relating to this Privacy Policy shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
